I attended the ‘annual general meeting’ of the Arbory Trust in Barton yesterday. The trust exists to ‘manage’ a woodland burial site and has been in operation since 2000. The idea for the development of the site came from Peter Owen-Jones, now a well-known TV Rev, and we were told at the AGM that the trust has exceeded all expectations. (more…)

As a family, that’s us in the picture, we’ve been pretty good at remembering and celebrating birthdays. Last year was my big 6 so this year was inevitably going to be less of an event. But number 1 daughter came down from Leeds and we all went out last night to Carluccio’s in Cambridge. (more…)
